The International Journal of Molecular Medicine and Advance Sciences (IJMMAS) is committed to promoting the highest standards of integrity, responsibility, and ethical conduct in scientific research and scholarly publishing. All research submitted to the journal must be conducted in accordance with internationally accepted ethical principles and applicable institutional, national, and international regulations.

IJMMAS follows the ethical recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial staff are expected to comply with these principles throughout the submission, peer review, editorial, and publication processes.

Ethical Approval

Research involving human participants, animals, biological specimens, or sensitive data must receive prior approval from an appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB), Ethics Committee, or equivalent regulatory authority before the study begins. Authors must provide the name of the approving institution, approval number, and approval date where applicable.

Human Research

Studies involving human participants must be conducted in accordance with internationally accepted ethical principles, including the Declaration of Helsinki and relevant national regulations. Authors must ensure that the rights, dignity, privacy, and safety of all participants are fully protected throughout the research process.

Animal Research

Research involving animals must comply with recognized national and international guidelines for the ethical care and use of laboratory animals. Authors should demonstrate that every reasonable effort has been made to minimize pain, distress, and unnecessary use of animals.

Informed Consent

Authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained from all participants, or from legally authorized representatives where applicable, before inclusion in the study. When identifiable patient information, photographs, videos, or clinical images are published, explicit written consent for publication must also be obtained.

Clinical Trial Registration

Clinical trials should be prospectively registered in a publicly accessible clinical trial registry before participant enrollment. The trial registration number and registry name should be included in the manuscript.

Research Integrity

Authors are expected to present research honestly, accurately, and transparently. Fabrication, falsification, selective reporting, image manipulation, inappropriate statistical practices, and misleading interpretation of results constitute serious breaches of research ethics and are strictly prohibited.

Data Integrity

Authors are responsible for maintaining accurate research records and should retain the original data supporting their findings. The Editorial Office may request access to supporting data during the review process or after publication when necessary to verify the integrity of the research.

Research Misconduct

Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Unethical authorship practices
• Undisclosed conflicts of interest

Any allegation of misconduct will be investigated in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures and internationally recognized ethical guidance.

Editorial Authority

The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board reserve the right to reject any manuscript at any stage of the editorial or peer review process if there is evidence of unethical conduct, research misconduct, violation of publication ethics, inadequate ethical approval, failure to obtain informed consent, or any practice that compromises the integrity, reliability, or credibility of the research.

Where ethical concerns arise after publication, the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as appropriate to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.

Compliance

Submission of a manuscript to IJMMAS constitutes confirmation that all ethical requirements have been met and that the research has been conducted responsibly in accordance with applicable regulations and internationally recognized ethical standards. Failure to comply with this Research Ethics Policy may result in rejection of the manuscript, withdrawal of a published article, notification of relevant institutions, or other appropriate editorial action.
