The International Journal of Molecular Medicine and Advance Sciences (IJMMAS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scientific quality, editorial excellence, and publication integrity. Our comprehensive quality control system ensures that every manuscript published by the journal meets internationally accepted standards of academic publishing through rigorous editorial assessment, ethical screening, peer review, and production procedures.
The journal follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the ethical guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure consistency, transparency, and reliability throughout the publication process.
Every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment to determine its suitability for the journal. During this stage, editors evaluate:
Manuscripts that do not satisfy the journal's minimum quality requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before peer review.
All manuscripts are screened using Turnitin or an equivalent plagiarism detection software before entering peer review. Manuscripts containing unacceptable levels of similarity, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other forms of publication misconduct are handled according to the journal's ethical policies.
Eligible manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by qualified independent experts. Reviewers assess the scientific validity, originality, methodology, ethical compliance, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, and overall contribution of the research.
Editorial decisions are based on reviewer recommendations together with the independent evaluation of the handling editor and the Editor-in-Chief.
Editors monitor every stage of the editorial workflow to ensure fairness, objectivity, consistency, and timely manuscript processing. Reviewer comments are carefully evaluated, and manuscripts requiring revisions are reassessed before a final publication decision is made.
Accepted manuscripts undergo professional copyediting and proofreading to improve grammar, language, formatting, references, consistency, and overall readability while preserving the scientific accuracy of the research. Final proofs are reviewed before publication to ensure accuracy and publication quality.
The production team performs comprehensive quality checks on article formatting, metadata, figures, tables, references, DOI assignment, pagination, and online publication to ensure that each article meets international publishing standards and is ready for indexing and long-term preservation.
The Editorial Office continuously monitors compliance with publication ethics throughout the submission and publication process. Cases involving plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, falsification, image manipulation, authorship disputes, or other forms of research misconduct are investigated in accordance with the recommendations of COPE and ICMJE.
IJMMAS regularly reviews and updates its editorial procedures, peer review practices, publication policies, and production standards to reflect developments in scholarly publishing and international best practices. Continuous monitoring and quality improvement help ensure that the journal maintains a high standard of scientific publishing and provides reliable, credible, and impactful research to the global scientific community.
