Guide for Authors

The International Journal of Molecular Medicine and Advance Sciences (IJMMAS) welcomes the submission of original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of molecular medicine, biomedical sciences, biotechnology, genetics, and related disciplines. Authors are requested to carefully follow these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts to ensure a smooth editorial and peer review process.

 

Scope of the Journal

IJMMAS publishes manuscripts in the fields of molecular medicine, molecular biology, medical genetics, genomics, proteomics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, cancer biology, immunology, microbiology, infectious diseases, regenerative medicine, pharmacology, precision medicine, clinical biochemistry, neuroscience, cardiovascular sciences, endocrinology, translational medicine, and other related areas of biomedical and life sciences.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format using clear and professional English. The manuscript should generally include the following sections where applicable:

  • Title
  • Author Information
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements
  • Funding Statement
  • Conflict of Interest Statement
  • Ethical Approval Statement (where applicable)
  • References
  • Tables and Figures

Authors should ensure that the manuscript is carefully proofread before submission.

 

Author Information

The title page should include:

  • Full name of each author
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Department
  • City and Country
  • Email address
  • Corresponding author details
  • ORCID iD (recommended)

All listed authors must have made a substantial contribution to the research and must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.

 

Abstract and Keywords

The manuscript should include a concise abstract summarizing the objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions of the study. Authors should also provide 3–6 relevant keywords to facilitate indexing and discoverability.

 

References

All references must be prepared according to the MLA (Modern Language Association) referencing style. Authors should include the DOI for each reference whenever available. If a DOI is unavailable, a valid direct URL should be provided whenever possible. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all references are complete, accurate, and properly cited.

 

Figures and Tables

Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and cited within the text. Images must be of high resolution and suitable for publication. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material where required.

 

Ethical Requirements

Research involving human participants, animals, or clinical investigations must have prior approval from an appropriate Ethics Committee or Institutional Review Board (IRB). The manuscript should clearly state the name of the approving institution, approval number (where applicable), and confirmation that informed consent was obtained when required.

 

Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or commercial relationships that could influence the research. If no conflicts exist, authors should state:

"The authors declare that they have no competing interests."

 

Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Authors should submit a plagiarism report generated using Turnitin or an equivalent similarity detection software along with the manuscript. Manuscripts that fail to comply with the journal's plagiarism policy may be rejected without peer review.

 

Peer Review

All eligible manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review by independent experts. Editorial decisions are based on scientific quality, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Editorial Decision

Following peer review, the Editor-in-Chief may issue one of the following decisions:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

The Editor-in-Chief's decision is final.

 

Publication Ethics

Authors are expected to comply with internationally accepted standards of publication ethics. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, image manipulation, inappropriate authorship, and any other form of research misconduct are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate rejection or retraction of the article.
