Background: Clinical competence is a cornerstone of healthcare education. Traditional teaching approaches often limit opportunities for repetitive practice and exposure to complex clinical scenarios. Simulation-Based Learning (SBL) has emerged as an innovative educational strategy that provides a safe, controlled environment for developing clinical skills. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of simulation-based learning in enhancing clinical skills development among healthcare students and professionals. Methods: A mixed-method cross-sectional study was conducted involving 250 healthcare learners from medicine, nursing, and allied health disciplines. Participants underwent simulation-based training sessions over six months. Clinical competence scores, confidence levels, communication abilities, and procedural performance were assessed before and after intervention. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-tests. Results: Post-intervention assessments demonstrated significant improvements in clinical competence (78.2% to 91.4%), procedural accuracy (72.5% to 89.6%), communication skills (74.1% to 88.3%), and learner confidence (68.7% to 92.5%) (p < 0.001). Conclusion: Simulation-based learning significantly improves clinical competence, communication skills, and learner confidence. Integrating simulation into healthcare curricula can enhance patient safety and healthcare quality.
