Preliminary Studies of a New Class of Azetidinones Compounds as Potential Hle Inhibitors
Published
Dec. 30, 2005
Abstract

"Human Neutrophil Elastase (HLE) is a serine protease which is released from neutrophils in response to inflammatory stimuli. Thirteen azetidinone derivatives were synthesized and HLE interaction was evaluated
by spectrophotometer method. Part of them are active, whereas all the compounds have no cytotoxic activity."
